Unless the offset and /or backspacing of the new wheels is different from the original or the overall diameter of the tire/wheel combination differs from original there should be no problems.

I have 15 years of experience swapping tires and wheels on my track Porsches and have never encountered an alignment problem related to changes of wheels. I know, however, there are some bizarre aftermarket wheels available (such as the ones with the tremendous offset that stick way out beyond fenders on kids'cars), and I'm loath to say wheels could *never* make a difference.

I read Marty's post and his prior post re negative camber in the back and would think his problem was more likely the result of the dealer's faulty alignment than related to wheels.

Best.
