The simple fact is if you can go 3 or 4 hours in a "car seat" that is pretty good. The only way you are going to get more comfort is with a seat that allows you to sit higher up (as in a SUV). This is because your legs are allowed to stretch out more fully. It also allows them to "hang" more freely away from your a$$ taking pressure off of your back.

In my old Nissan I could only stand about 4 hours drive before I HAD to get out of the car. In my Tahoe I can go 10 hours before I even get fidgety.
