In anticipation of getting my 2001 540, I have been checking to see if there are any independent mechanics who service BMW's in Virginia. While I have not used this shop, they have been very helpful in answering questions I have had regarding servicing the 540. They service BMW's and other European cars. You may want to check them out: Curry's Auto Service, Inc.
703-502-0400. Their website is: http://www.currysauto.com/
: I was wondering if anyone knows of any good mechanics in the Washington DC? I recently moved to the area and have not yet found one that satisfies me completly. I live in the Georgetown area so maybe something in VA would be closer than in MD but it does not really matter. I just want a very honest and not overly expensive machanic.

: Thanks alot
