The published numbers indicate the _peak_ torque. However 530 has higher peak HP, which suggests that the torque curve doesn't dip down as fast as 528 at high RPM. I can't say for sure since I haven't seen the torque curve. But if 530 indeed has more torque at upper end, the driver will be able to feel the increased power since the pull will be longer. But I agree, the difference will be minimal.
