There was a company in the UK that did the "steptronic" conversion on the E34 series 5 speed automatics (they plugged in a small PC board where the EPROM went, and hooked up a cable to the PC board), but it was very expensive - my recollection is well over $1000) Am not able at the present time to come up with address.

i on Friday (I'll post picture later). This new coupe comes with a 5 speed Strptronic and I love it though cannot really play with the gears due to the mileage.
