Here's what they say in Omaha. The dealer here has a policy to lightly wax all new deliveries. No power tools, just a light hand wax. It has seemed to work on the 17 BMW we've owned since 1977.

: Car built last week of March, will take delivery this week. Any thoughts on when the paint has cured enough to wax or is this even an issue now days. Should I wax right away or give the paint more time to set. If I wait how much time. Any thoughts.

: Thank in advance.
