: : My dealer tells me that the jet engine sound that comes from the engine when the car is warm, is normal!
: : It must be the cooling fan that makes the sound and it only happens with city driving.

: : Is this normal?

: What sound are you hearing. I hasd Dinan CAI installed and it seems that after that time I'm hearing a high pitched whine or whistle that the local non Dinan BMW dealer says is related to the CAI. I took the car back to the distant BMW dealer that did the Dinan CAI and they say it is normal. Nobody is denying the sound or telling me exactly what it is. I hear it under load only when accelerating miderately briskly between 2000 and 3000rpm. Tell me what you are hearing.
