BMW got real worried with the A4 when it still offered the E36 because the styling was much rounder, more updated and now the A4 and the E46 sedan look very similar. If the styling sucks so much, why would BMW have fashioned its cars in the same kind of bodywork as the A4s??? I am not an Audi fan at all, and have many more reasons than you but a few years back, I was spanked by an Audi so bad, that I will never lose respect for them. It was a fully engine mod'd but stock looking Audi 200 with the 20valve motor. I don't know what he had done to the car but it would give a porsche turbo a run for its money.
