harsher? Does it feel better over bumps
than without the bar? The reason I am asking is
because in NY City the roads are not that good
and I really do not want a "harsher" ride.
I don't mind if the ride is firmer and it improves
harshness. The Dinan stage 2 sometimes could
get a little harsh around here. Most of the
times it's acceptable to me.

Thanks a million (in advance)

: : I know that the strut brace is supposed to
: : improve handling and the structural integrity
: : of the car, but the 5 series structure is so
: : good (stiff), I tend to believe that it's
: : overkill. PLEASE post your real world
: : differences when you have a chance.

: : : Just installed my strut barce, it took all of ten minutes to do this, very easy to do. No time to test affects yet.

: I was one of the first three to install the new DInan strut tower brace. Yes, the 540 is very stiff, but now it is much stiffer. There is a definite difference in lateral stiffness. There is no body roll, or tweeking in the front on high speed turns. I woiuld say most peole just think ity looks nice, but I have a lot more confidence now that it is there in high speed turning. It completes the stage 3 suspension. And it take around 3 hours to install, not ten minutes, so bne prepared.
