You are right, I see a cable hanging by the fog light. Could that be for the sensor? What does the sensor look like and where is it located?

: Look at my recent posts about the -40 reading. For me it meant that my temp. sensor was gone, along with part of my lower cladding, no doubt from a pot hole or some other road hazard. Perhaps you have a similar problem.
