by far the most useful effect of a brace is not allowing you to lose camber on your outside tire. Contrary to what most people think, the bar does not prevent the shock towers from flexing towards each other but actually prevents the outside tower from flexing away from the other which causes you to lose negative camber. Under heavy cornering, especially with R compound tires, it will really help. For daily street driving? Probably not much.
