i have the newest seals and was still getting alot of noise. the dealer cleaned the seals while the car was in for servicing, and now the seals are quieter; however, i still get some noise. i think jim cash's advise re cleaning and lubricating the seals regularly (see archives) is going to be the only way for me to avoid the noise. a bit surprising from such a legendary quality manufacturer, but hey, i love the car nonetheless. crop


: The door seals on my '97 540iA squeak. Do others of you have this problem? I find it unbelievable that a car of this purported quality would have such a problem. Any fixes?
