I "cashed in" the CLK under the state lemon law after recurrent transmission problems.

: : Just took delivery of my 2000 540ia with sport package. Previously had a 99 MB CLK430. What a difference! Even though the 5er is bigger than the CLK, it is significantly faster and handles much much better.
: : I had not driven the sport package 540 before ordering one....only drove the stock 540...I am impressed by how much better handling and faster the sport package is..at least by memory (its been afew months since I drove the stock version). Anyway, I am quite happy with the car so far (first day!).
