No flames, but 13.6 in 1/4 mile??? Please go to your nearest drag strip & get a time slip.

A 540 would be lucky to even dip into the 13's. Why would anyone buy a new M5 if a 540 w/100 less hp could fully run with it??

I have a 3.15 lsd in my 540 & I must say the car is better everywhere than it used to be. I also have a Conforti engine chip, Dinan high flow air tube and K&N - WAY quicker than stock, no where near 13.6.

The '96 Firehawk that I had for ESP auto-x & driving schools ran 13.6@103 would tromp any 540 with or without mods, on the track or off. I doubt it was under 5 sec 0-60.

On a better note, I must say the 540 is vastly different automobile - far more refined, far more sophisticated - mine'll be hard to replace when the time comes. The 540's are strong running 4-doors no question(the best out there if you ask me) - but under 5 seconds and 13.6's?? hmmm......

BTW - According to my G-tech in an average of 5 runs(seriously) - my buddy's bone stock '89 944 Turbo S runs a 12.89 - I have a hard time believing that too.
