That's probably the best characterization of an automatic that I've ever read! Thank you for the giggle and grin!!

I'm dropping my 540i/6 off for its first [scheduled] service tonight, and the dealer still doesn't "get it" that after over 20 years of driving manuals, I'm happier with a 323 5-speed than any automatic in his loaner fleet!
