I'm basing my comments on a C43 that I rode in. The acceleration was, of course, blistering. Comparing the cornering capabilities, it seemed to feel similar to my 540i/6, but the ride was awful. Small bumps on the road came thru to the cabin in what -- to me -- was an intrusive manner. I was quite surprised! Maybe that's why the E Class sport package is wheels & tires only...

: : * My observation of MB sport suspensions is that they handle well, but ride as though suspended on bricks. The BMW sport suspensions seem to be as good (or better) on cornering, and far superior in impact harshness, compliance, and general ride.


: The current E-Class sport package offers no upgrades in the suspension. It's purely cosmetic.
