: The terminology you used in the subject line is a little bit confusing to me. The DSP circuitry itself is contained in the same chassis as the amplifier. The "controls" and display are in the dash. On the cars I have seen, the basic system and DSP use the same display, and the funcionality of the display changes once the DSP/amp box is installed with the appropriate wiring harness. THerefore there is no literal DSP control unit. It is a universal control unit connected to either a DSP equipped amplifier or a conventional one. I suspect that what you are missing is the DSP + amplifier module. This is really the heart of the DSP system.

In addition to Bob's correct input for the "Digital Signal Processor" system, the dash display unit (MID) is also different in that it has the DSP button on it, and internal software to interface with the DSP amp.

Also the factory speakers are different for the DSP equipped system. The door and rear woofers are different and it adds the subwoofer unit in the trunk.

Cheers
