I can't find the answer for some of these questions in the archives. Any help will be very much appreciated as I want to do this once and do it properly. Thanks to everyone who has published their advice & upgrade step by step guides on this board. Invaluable information.

Are the rear speakers in the E39 touring 5.25" like the sedan ?

Anyone any experience changing the rear speakers - Depth issues as they are inverse mounted in the roof ?

I also have a question w.r.t the BMW (crappy) sub-woofer. I do not have DSP but the car does have the Nokia sub in the plastic swing out box above the battery and it works. BMW NA says this is not possible and that the sub only comes with DSP. The wiring is looks factory original and connects into the 26 way connector on the amp. Does the touring have a different standard amp to the sedan ?

I am researching in preparation for a upgrade similar to the ADS system II. I am currently looking at:
335IS Fronts
A5I/M Rears (or 6.5 if they will fit ?)
A10s or RS10 sub (Is the DVC better for a single sub ?)
AC502
P640/650 or (P840/850 and bridge the rears & sub - Would this overpower the fronts ?)

Thanks
Mark
