All they could do is spot the chip with the same color and cover that with a little clear coat. They did just that, it is the same color as the car but it still looks like a deep chip. Again they said they could not repair it because of the way the Aspen Metalic is applied at the factory.

: Dose anyone know a remedy for this without painting the whole hood.

Forgot to add the car is a 2000 528i, with metalic Aspen Silver Paint.
