Hi everyone! First post. I just attended my first advanced driving school in my '98 - 540i 6-speed. Car performed great! I was amazed.

I've picked up the thread on the 3.15 gear conversion. I think I'm hearing Dinan is charging $1500, but some of the dealerships are charging $450. Is this an installed price? If this is the case, is this the best place to put the coin or should I be considering some suspension modifications or a performance ship. What's the best bang for the buck (if the intent is to get around the track faster next time out)??
