Assume $344 +$15 cable from Circle BMW was less the phone? Did you supply your own phone? What model, cost?

: Here's my post on how I installed the startac into 2000 528, sep99 build. Not very difficult if you have the proper tools available, especially the cable pin extractor.

: : My last BMW (7 series) had a remote detector (BEL 635), with the control head mounted in the ash tray, and the detector head behind the grille. This was really clean and stealthy, but the detector "false alarmed" a little too much. I checked with Valentine, but their unit can only be hard wired, not truly remoted. Any ideas or recommendations?
