HELP - Door Seals Still Sqeaking (archive)

Took my '97 540ia in for new door seals as it sounded like crickets had invaded my car. "New" seals continue to squeak. Are the felt seals available for the 540? I've seen them on 740's but not on 540's. Mentioned it to my service rep and he gave me a blank stare. More importantly, will the felt seals stop the insanity?
