Drove my friend's C43 a while ago and here are my impressions:

Pros on C43:
1. Smaller turning angle.
2. Nice air-filled sport seats.
3. Very responsive gas pedal.
4. Eye catching badge, make all C class hail you.

Con on C43:
1. Aging design.
2. Less power than 540i on higher speed.
3. Body kit looks like a banana.
4. Still handles like a Mercedes.

G-tech test on both cars:

C43 (STOCK) = 6.0 second (YES, YOU HEAR ME RIGHT! "SIX-POINT-ZERO" SECONDS)
540i (DINAN, before 3.15 Diff) = 5.5 seconds

The Verdict: Both cars are about the same price, I still choose 540i over C430 or even E55 anyday! There are no substitution for the feeling being in a B-M-W !
