Despite having a 7.5 liter V-8 under the hood, the horsepower is not all that. Torque on the other hand is more than plentiful, but that truck can't put it down to the ground.

A friend of mine used to have a GMC Syclone - shortbed regular cab pickup truck, 4.3 liters, 2-valve, turbocharged - 280HP and 360? ft/lbs torque and full-time AWD. 0-60 recorded was 4.9 and was raced in all the automotive mags against Ferraris, Vettes, etc. The Syclone was unbeatable and is still a tough customer. Of course, being a GMC (or a GM product for that matter) it was a POS on wheels, but a fast one at that.
