: wobble came up so much later makes this really difficult to diagnose.
: I would start by eliminating possibilities before you take the car anywhere else. Meaning, jack the car up and replace one front wheel with the spare, drive around & see what happens. If the vibration is still there, move the spare to the opposite side & try again. If either of those two actions fix the problem you have just found your bad wheel. If there is no obvious improvement-meaning the car still vibrates a lot with the spare on either/both sides, my bet is that it's a brake disk problem: warped disks causing the wobble. And, 5'ers are noted for early brake disk warpage/wear so...this should be checked carefully, the dealer or a good brake shop should be able to do this without even removing the disks. Good luck, please post your final fix for our benefit Thanks, that is a good idea. I assumed (I know, I know) that the dealer who identified two bad rims would probably be best to diagnose this but by doing what you said I can at least improve my argument with them.
