I spoke with the "tech expert" at the dealer here in L.A. the other day and he said they have been having lots of complaints with the TDMA system. The complaints are not with the phone itself, but that the service by the vendors is not as good. The CDMA (Verizon) has been much better and no customer complaints.

: I can answer phone question....

: BMW's new digital phone (MB is only other maker to offer Digital phone) is avail as either TDMA (not that great) or CDMA (the best of the two). You chose based on what system you want. The CDMA supports both systems. I have Bell Atlantic, I mean Verizons and I went with the CDMA. The only phone offered is the Startac for now.Generally, auto manufactures go with Motorola because of quality.
