: If waxing yourself, spray onto cloth if anywhere near body molding, then apply from cloth onto paint. Usually will get a little wax on molding which comes off with vinylx cleaner (same stuff to use on dash and non leather interior parts).
: Unless ultimate ease is your goal, go with liquid wax (like the Mequire's suggested by another poster) that you pour onto cloth, as I recall the spray on stuff has a mild cleaner(abrasive) in it which you don't need if you take good care of the paint.

: : What spray on wax do you use, Eric? Does it leave any unsightly residue on the black rub strips?

: : The once a year pro wax is probably doable, maybe even twice a year, if I can find a place that doesn't mechanically buff the clearcoat right off the car in the process.
: : : Pay someone to do it right once a year. In between, use spray on wax which is as easy as it gets. Spray it on out of a pump bottle and wipe it off.
