Automatic down/up of sunshades when reversing (archive)

The rear sunshades have an annoying side effect in very strong sunshine, they are hard to look through when reversing because of glare.

I had thought the following should be easily done for someone with the proper skills:

If the sunshades are up when setting the car in reverse, the sunshades should be pulled down, then back up again when taken out of reverse.

This is similar to the curb-looking option of the passager side mirror and could be controlled by the same switch on the driver door.

Any experience or thoughts on this?
