This is typical with aftermarket Xenon HID headlamps. Apparently, the internal resistance of the ballast/bulb does not match the factory specs, therefore setting off your MID warning, even though your lights are actually O.K.

I'd just like to know, which ones did you get, where did you get them, how much did you pay and lastly, are you satisfied with them (besides the MID warning)? Do other drivers flash you becasue they are being blinded (cutoff not being agressive enough with standard relectors)? How is the color compared to OEM Xenon HID's?

Sorry for all of these Q's, but I'm on the fence about buying the real thing (I have JIMMY's Xenon look-alike bulbs - as good as they are, they aren't bright as the real thing, the color is perfect though). TIA
