You may be getting a load of bull. Imagine that from a dealer! Call several, including Jon Shafer at Cutter and Jim Cupp at Centennial in Eugene, Oregon. (He does lots of these.)

Good luck,

Marc

: Just went to my local dealer (Crevier, Orange County CA). I was told by the salez dood that 540s are in such demand that they're on dealer allocation, even for european delivery. Jon Shafer, anyone???? He said that pricing/info on the '01 5 series wouldn't be available until about the 3rd week of August.

: Also, they had a black/black M5 on the showroom floor. Asking price $95K. He said they've sold 5 of them at that price. You get MSRP if you order but lead time is 2 years. Unreal. I wish my employee stock options were worth a lot more :)

: Andrew
