In Reply to: 3.15 installed. Can't say I am impressed. (more) posted by NW on July 05, 2000 at 17:20:49:

: Well....I have yet to really G-tech the car (waiting for same temp as previous runs) but....by the seat of my pants, the 3.15 doesn't seem to make the car a whole lot quicker off the line????

: I know that Jimmy has taken off 0.5 seconds from 0-60 but it sure doesn't feel like it to me. Granted, the car is objectively running at higher RPMs throughout
: (about 400 rpm).

: Amyways...will post G-tech results before and after 3.15.

: I am seriously contemplatng putting in the 3.46 from the 528iA - that should really make a difference. Thoughts? My car is a 540iA.

I had a 95 540ia, I put in the dinan 3:64 dif.
but more importantly, I added the dinan torque
conv. if your car is a 98 or older, you should add
the torq.conv, but the best is the 3:64 dif
for the automatic!
