: : Well....I have yet to really G-tech the car (waiting for same temp as previous runs) but....by the seat of my pants, the 3.15 doesn't seem to make the car a whole lot quicker off the line????

: : I know that Jimmy has taken off 0.5 seconds from 0-60 but it sure doesn't feel like it to me. Granted, the car is objectively running at higher RPMs throughout
: : (about 400 rpm).

: : Amyways...will post G-tech results before and after 3.15.

: : I am seriously contemplatng putting in the 3.46 from the 528iA - that should really make a difference. Thoughts? My car is a 540iA.

: after spending 12K on aftermarket mods from ACS and Dinan (my car is on Jimmy's site)I was very impressed with the overall improvments. The car handles, is fast, and is a real eye turner (in fact it is a daily occurance to come out to my carand find post-it notes, and bus. cards with comments and invitations for racing. The overall best bang for the buck is the 3.15 diff. I noticed a huge difference from the moment it was installed. I can definitly say from my experience and others that this is the only real mod that needs to be done for the frugal. You WILL SEE A DIFFERENCE. NW i suggest you pay a lot more attention to your car, or maybe you got shafted by your garage, but if you got the diff believe me you would notice it. As far as the SC from Dinan is concerened, a week is not happening. I was told 6 months from now if we are lucky. Also a sport clutch will be needed (another 2K), and a warranty goes without saying. I hope I'm wrong so I can really drive my beast before it goes into hibernation for the winter.
: Best regards,
: JZ
