: Yeah, but 7.5K/year? Unless that's your weekend car, that's awfully low. What's the mileage penalty for going over that? Bet it's more than BMW Financial Services charges. Also, although the insurance companies consider the 540 a high performance car, the NSX is in a different category, and would likely be much higher, resulting in higher ownership costs.

: I was paying $820/month for a 10K/year lease on a 99 540, which I ended up trading in for a 97 528 purchase which is cheaper per month and half the insurance cost. The extra power is nice for those stoplights and onramps, but ownership is even better.
