I agree with this one. I have a 540i6spd and took off the emblem. Don't care what it says, care about what's under the hood!!!

: : I have seen a lot of debate here about removing emblems and leaving just the SILVER //M that comes from the dealership. What does it matter. Some people think their cars look a lot cleaner with fewer or no emblems. Its not that we are trying to be M5's or 540, its a matter of individualized personal choice. everybody wants to make their car different and personal. No one is trying to fool any of you M5 drivers because it is really EASY by first glance if someone drives a 528, 540, or M5. In that case, I live in Califonia and the Dealers are selling 540's with M5 front, rear spoiler and rims. Now if you buy one of those, are you trying to be an M5, but its OK because you bought it from the dealer? You people who complain about seeing cars with no emblems or just //M's on them are ignorant and insecure about your own cars. But I think it is very STUPID if you are replacing your emblems with 540 when you have a 528, or M5 when you have a 540.

: Your last sentence is the one that grates people. No emblem fine, M5 wheels fine, M5 spoiler fine, but a M5 or 540 badge on a 528 is just goofy. Just buy up if you want the proper emblem.
