: I have a 97 540iA with Dinan stage 2, CAI, chip upgrades, 18" Breyton Magic's, etc. I recently was in a small accident and before I do the repairs want to purchase an aero kit. Bruinboy's and/or Jimmy's cars look great but I had some questions.
: 1) Because of the CAI did you have to mod the M5 and/or RD front end?
: 2) New exhaust system. I would like to change the exhaust to give a look more like Bruinboy's (duals) but I presume I have to make the decision as to rear end treatment first?
: 3) I don't drive many miles but I drive really fast. Have you had any problems with the aftermarket aero kits at high rates of speed (120+). I am currently having to work with dealer concerning a whistle which only occurs at 115+ mph and I would rather not have a lot of these types of problems.

: Any suggestions and/or advice before buying an aero kit. I am currently thinking of buying front/back/sides all at once because I think this is the right thing to do. And I just can't wait.

: I realize there are lots of cars on the board with some of these add-ons but Bruinboy and Jimmy had the most photos to refer to.

: Thanks,
: Jory

Hi Jory,
I bought a m-5 type spoiler from "bekkers" i like it a lot.Feels like it hugs the road much better,it also has some duct work that goes right to the front brakes to cool them.
