Welcome to the E39 board! I have a 00' 528i with no vibration whatsoever at high speeds- steady as a rock. Are you feeling steering wheel vibration? If so, would have your dealer make sure that the front wheels are in good balance, AND that there are no hidden dents in the alloy wheel itself (including the inside rim) that could easily explain this. The other possibility is a bad tire (asymmetric, not perfectly round), and if all else fails it would be reasonable to have them change the tires and see if this makes a difference.

Good luck and enjoy your new car. You made a great choice.

Dave 00'528i, anthracite/gray with premium package, sunroof, cold weather package, and DSP.
