Just bought a 97 528i with 24.5K miles, dsp, 6cd, in Mint condition, no cpo for 30,500. It was one of the more expensive vehicles NOT found at a BMW dealer. BMW dealers are WAY too rpoud of their selection of caars, considering most of their used vehicles come from the BMW finance center auction block. At a couple of auctions here in Dallas, the HIGHEST price paid for a 97 528 was $27k with very low miles. That car was probably listed on a dealer lot at $35.9 waay too much.
Good luck, look around, don't be in a hurry. You're gonna LOVE a 528i.
