Alright guys, I obviously have a learning curve to battle here with respect to GM HP vs BMW HP. I DID get a check engine light after awhile tonight. I need to do more research. BUT the car is running unbelievably stronger now than before.
Please post your trials and tribulations if you try this simple mod. I still don't see how a simple screen removal can set a code. (remember I put a cone K & N filter where the air box shuld be. Please let me know if I need to know something. Even with tonights problems, the car has great power for minimal cost. I am not looking to be the 540 know-it-all here, just trying to transfer some of my knowledge of the computer controlled fast GM cars to these great cars.
Again, let me know what I need to know.
