1. Skip the DSP and put the money into an after-market upgrade - search the archives for tons-o-info (try searching for the following brands: focal, a/d/s/, canton, jl, mcintosh, precision power)

2. The standard and DSP stereos use the CD changer in the trunk, though you can also get a glovebox-mounted changer - get the changer from Pacificbmw.com or circlebmw.com and install it yourself - don't buy it from the dealer. Again, tons-o-details in the archives.

: Can anybody tell me, if the premium DSP is worth the extra bucks? I have read, that it uses another cd-changer in the trunk (Better?). How is the DSP controlled? Any news there in modell 2001?
