While I don't have the exterior anti-glare mirrors, I did drive a Cadillac Deville last week which had the rear-view anti-glare mirror and it was horribly distorted and blurry. That tells me that there could be a technology difference between bimmer's interior and exterior mirrors.

: Secondly my BMW has those automatic antiglare interior and exterior mirrors. My concern is with regards to the exterior mirrors in that when it darkens and esp at night, I see slightly double lights from car headlamps and traffic lights and the sharpness of the overall view is reduced, drivers mirror more than passengers mirror. The interior rearview mirror is fine. So is this a normal characterictic of the electrochromic antiglare property of these mirrors?
