: : : Check it out
: : : This is the rim that will go on the 530i sports package.
: : : Rest of it, you all have to use your imagination.
: : : what colors will best match these rims!?!..(-8
: : : Silver, Topaz Blue, Slate Green...etc.
: : : By the way, Where can I see a slate green, does this color exist in other BMW series? I haven't decide what colors, Silver, Topaz Blue, Slate Green, or Steel Blue.
: : : Thanks
: These rims look as if they would be on a Premium package and not Sport package. Aren't the 530i Sport rims supposed to be radial simular to 2000 540 optional rims?
I thought I read a message on this board a week or two ago that both the 525i and 530i will have optional sport and sport/premium packages. I haven't got a single clue ast to what rims will be included with the 525i sport and sport/premium packages. I also read a message on this board earlier this week that the 530i premium and sport/premium packages will include style 42 alloy wheels (composite cross-spoke II with exposed wheel studs). Style 42 is less deep dished than style 5 (composite cross-spoke alloy wheels with hidden wheel studs (OEM with sport and sport/premium packages on 1998, 1999 and 2000 528i). IMO, style 5 is much nicer than style 42 which is also nice, too. The radial alloy wheels (style 15) on the 540i sport package are butt ugly IMO. Also, IMO, the parallel spoke (style 66) are better than style 15, but still don't cut it for me. Again, IMO, Style 19 (composite 7-spoke) alloy wheels (OE on 1997 and 1998 540i with sport package) as well as the aformentioned style 5 (essentially similar to style 19) are the best BMW wheels around. Both style 5 and style 19 are equally deep dished.
