Yes you can spoof it - this took me 2 minutes to do....not my real IP address showing...give me another 20 minutes and I could "post" from any IP address (I have my own server). Why don't I? This thread has gone on long enough.

: It can be spoofed, and in most cases it can't be spoofed effectively because if your spooking your ip then the server is sending the results back to the wrong ip, so you get no Interaction.
: BUT! In this case, with this message board, a person can submit the form using a spoofed ip and not care about receiving feedback so in this case it would work. If the board script required you to CONFIRM the message after submitting, then it would be impossible. But on this board a person could submit with the packet information containing the incorrect ip info, it will route to the web server, get processed as a post, then the web server will send the resuling message display back to the wrong ip, but it would still have already accepted the post.
