I just purchased a pre-owned '97 540I, and can't believe the ride of the car. However, I'm a bit concerned about something...perhaps its normal..I'm not sure...but I hope someone out there has some insight on this...Everytime I make a panic stop, the following message appears on the dash "STOP ENGINE OIL PRESSURE" (or something similar).
