....as the owner of two BMWs, I am astonished --not to mention disappointed-- by the was BMW is handling this matter. This is unacceptable behavior for even a "normal" auto manufacturer.......to see BMW acting as such is heartbreaking.

All my best for a speedy (too late for that) resolution of your unfortunate situation. Keep us posted....

: Not only did they keep the car for 17 days to allow the BMW Engineer time to scratch his head but they utilized OUR
: Electronic Gas Credit Card to refill the tank before they gave it back to us.

: After we received our bill and quized Mobil and the dealer for the time and TAPE of the transaction, the BMW Customer
: Service Manager stated that we would need to call "national" to ask them for reimbursement.

: Beware, no-one is responsible! Mobil calls it fraud! What do you call it?
