It is amazing to me that people have attacked both John and myself about verbalizing our expiriences with how BMW snubs those who do end up having major problems with their cars.... wait until you run into a problem... hopefully you won't, but if you do you will be glad that folks like John and myself, along with MANY others, took a stand for what is right. If everybody just rolled over and took it in the a$$ like some of you have suggested, how sad this world would be. You should be happy that someone is fighting for ALL of our rights. You may not need what we are doing now - but you may some day in the future....

: I've been watching this web site for years, now when I need it, people start throwing stones.
: With a legit complaint, the documentation and problems are there for everyone to see. If BMW had returned any calls or correspondence it may not have been pushed this far. I valued my 540ia, and we had great hopes of traveling near and far. But not in this car. Now you can't even drive it because the drivers seat and all memory adjustments quit working in the "compressed driver" mode. No one fits in the seat. And to beat all, the local BMW dealer, Fields BMW, who have several dealerships within 100 miles, will NOT even talk about the car much less attempt to fix it. (They had fixed it once before for this problem.) Nor will they drive it since it can die on the freeway at any time. This car was delivered with every option at the time and we waited 5 months to have it built. I have paid my dues to post on this board and feel that BMW has not supported us in a way befitting the class, size, and type of company they want us to believe!

: Otherwise, I need some help and truly hope no one else has the problems with their car as we have!
