Do you treat your leather with protectant? It seems as though leather is very sensitive if it is not polished becomes cracky, etc.

: Hello to everyone! I have a 2000 540/6, black on black. It is almost a year old, with only 6100 miles on it. I am a little concerned about the driver's seat, and need your advice. The point of concern: on both the far right and far left edges of the extendable thigh support, a little ridge has appeared. You can feel something under the black leather along both of these "ridges". These "ridges" have become more apparent visually over the past few months. Friends of mine who have leather seated M-Bs and Lexi do not have this sort of problem.

: Do any of you have this situation? Will it get worse over time? Should I expect better of seats in a $60K car? Should I harrass the dealer about this, and if so, what would/could they do?

: Many thanks for your help...
