Well - thinking outside the box, there is always another approach.

I do not know the price of a new floor mat (which comes with the tether straps) but I suspect it would be similar to a storage box.

Perhaps you could order a new floor mat, and just use the old one when you are putting things like the stroller in. They just lift out - probably easier than the storage tray (and easier to store).

Or just get a rubberised mat and cut it to shape (including holes for the tether straps) - use velcro stickon's on the underside of the mat to hold it to the floor mat.
