I am still in the process of planning my setup and haven't switched to aftermarket yet. I have considered using stock speaker wiring but know that this will limit my PPI amp a little (its like running hose water through a smaller diameter hose). I am probably going to get a AMP wiring harness for my existing connectors so it can snap in and then run to custom RCA cables and remote turn on lead.
Power and ground will definitely run directly to the battery compartment.
