I had a 323Ci that was a lemon and I have NEVER, I repeat, N E V E R in my life dealt with so much bullshit (in terms of service for a product I purchased). BMWNA does not maintain communication, takes their time processing a request (by the time they process it, it's more of a "threat" than a request!), and treats customers like they simply do not give a damn. The lemon law in my state gave required that the company take no longer than 30 days to pay me after determining that my car was a lemon, and it took me "months"...months of lies, broken promises, I was yelled at by a Rep. (when I did not even raise my voice, or threaten anyone...I was very tactful), and was not given the option to decide whether I wanted a car or money (I was entitled to decide under my state lemon law). BMWNA has no idea what it means to be fair and ethical to such faithful buyers of their product. As well, they fail to claim responsibility for problems customers are having with their products.

I valued my 540ia, and we had great hopes of traveling near and far. But not in this car. Now you can't even drive it because the drivers seat and all memory adjustments quit working in the "compressed driver" mode. No one fits in the seat. And to beat all, the local BMW dealer, Fields BMW, who have several dealerships within 100 miles, will NOT even talk about the car much less attempt to fix it. (They had fixed it once before for this problem.) Nor will they drive it since it can die on the freeway at any time. This car was delivered with every option at the time and we waited 5 months to have it built. I have paid my dues to post on this board and feel that BMW has not supported us in a way befitting the class, size, and type of company they want us to believe!
