I recently knicked my brand spanking new (black) 540 but probably deserved the knick I got. I was a little dissapointed, to say the least, but like an idiot opened the door with a handful a crud. I do have a friend of a friend that recently took his M5 back to the dealership due to paint flaws. The one that told me this, who works on BMWs did comment that they were getting slack on paint jobs trying to fill all the orders.
